CFP | Undergraduate Program

Overview
The CFP Undergraduate Program in Fundraising and Philanthropy provides training and education for students who seek to improve society and change lives.  Recognized as one of the hottest 25 future careers in 2010 by US News and World Report, fundraising is a quickly emerging career path.  The first of its kind to be established at an HBCU, the program provides a unique experience that transforms the desire to make a difference into access to a diverse range of professional opportunities. The CFP Undergraduate Program in Fundraising and Philanthropy offers comprehensive curriculum that focuses on preparing students for leadership roles in careers related to the philanthropic sector. 

Courses
Courses in the undergraduate program provide students with an in-depth understanding of fundraising theory and practice.  The curriculum includes:  Advanced Fundraising, Grant Proposal Writing, Donor Relations and other courses that will prepare students for leadership roles in the philanthropic sector.  Students will develop valuable hands-on experience through internships, mentoring and career coaching.  Graduates of the program are conferred a bachelor of science in Business Administration with a concentration in Fundraising and Philanthropy.
