Coach Rodriguez is Paul Quinn College's first intercollegiate soccer head coach. In five years as a head coach, Rodriguez has compiled a 64-52-8 record, leading his teams to two conference championships, one regional championship, and an appearance in the Sweet 8 of the NJCAA National Tournament. On four separate occasions, Rodriguez's teams have finished the year ranked in the top ten nationally. Previously, he served as both head men's and women's soccer coach at Mountain View College, a NJCAA Division III school.
In 2011, Rodriguez led Mountain View College women’s team to a 22-5-0 overall record, a Metro Athletic Conference regular season Championship, Region V Championship and a Sweet 8 appearance in the 2011 NJCAA Division III National Tournament.
Rodriguez served as Mountain View College head men's soccer coach from 2007-2011 and led the 2009 Lions to a Metro Athletic Conference Championship, and Region V finalist. The Lions finished the season 8-4-2 overall record and no. 9 national ranking.
Rodriguez has coached two NJCAA Distinguished Academic All-Americans, five NJCAA Division III All-Americans, 32 All Conference/All Region Players, and five Metro Athletic Conference Players of the Year winners.
Rodriguez and his wife Kimberly live in Grand Prairie, Texas and their five children Jessica, Ryan, Michael, Tyler and Emilie.
