Mon., Jan. 14   Faculty return for Spring 2013 semester
  10 am-3 pm New Student Orientation (See NSO schedule for details)

Registration for Returning Students (Begin at Station #1 Enrollment Management)

Tue., Jan. 15 9 am-12 pm NSO Continues
  1-7 pm Registration for New and Returning Students; End of Regular Registration Period
Jan. 17 & 18   Quinnite Winter Retreat (Mandatory for All Students)
Tue., Jan. 22   First Day of Spring 2013 Classes
    Late Registration begins with $100 penalty
Fri., Jan. 25 10 am-4 pm Faculty/Staff Institute (begins with first Chapel Service of semester)
Tue., Feb. 5 5-6 pm Beginning of Monthly Graduating Senior Class Meetings
Wed., Feb. 6 9 am-5 pm Last Day to add/drop a Spring Class; a grade of W will be received for any class dropped after this date 12th Class Day / Certification of Attendance
Tue, Feb. 26 10 am-3 pm TExES Certification Exam Pre-Test - Current students and recent program completers are eligible to take either the PPR or their appropriate content exam. RSVPs must be received by Monday, February 25. Please bring two #2 pencils.

Fri., Mar. 1   Major Field Tests (for all juniors and seniors)
Sat., Mar. 2   Beginning of Mid-Term Exams
Tue., Mar. 5 5-6 pm Monthly Graduating Senior Class Meetings
Fri., Mar. 8  

End of Mid-Term Exam Period; midterm grades and attendance report due in CAMS with hard copies to registrar and AA.

   

Last Day to remove Incomplete ("I") grade from the previous Fall semester)

Wed., Apr. 24 12 pm Final grades for Graduating Seniors due to Registrar's Office with copies to AA
Fri., Apr. 26   Last Day of Spring 2012 Classes
  5 pm Completed Graduating Senior Clearance Form due to the Registrar's Office by 5 pm.
Sat., Apr. 27   Beginning of Finals Week for continuing students

Fri., May 3   End of Final Exam Week for Continuing Students
  12 pm Baccalaureate Service

Mon., May 6 12 pm All Spring 2013 grades and attendance reports due in CAMS, with hard copies to registrar's office and VPAA

Professional Development Series for Faculty - these days will be used to analyze and report assessment data and to plan for the 2012-2013 school year in terms of modifying course content based on assessment results; distance learning training and course development will be offered for faculty confirmed to teach/develop new online courses.

End of year for faculty (on 9 month contracts)
