HOW TO REQUEST A TRANSCRIPT
The Registrar's Office will provide an official copy of a student’s transcript upon written request and payment of a $15* dollar fee per transcript. Transcript requests will not be processed for students with financial holds, including Federal Loan repayments, or other obligations to the College.  All holds must be cleared before requesting a transcript.

Once a request is placed, you are responsible for payment. If holds preclude processing, you will have no more than 10 days to resolve the hold before your request is closed without transcript delivery. Holds resolved after 10 days will require the placement of a new transcript request with fee payment by the student.

All transcript orders must be requested directly by the student, alumni, or former student. Third-party released requests will only be accepted for federal or state law enforcement agency purposes. Federal and State law enforcement officials please present your signed release documents at the Registrar’s Office to receive further instructions.

Orders are generally processed within 5 to 7 business days once the Registrar’s office receives the request and payment is confirmed. During high volume periods, it may take longer to process the request. No transcripts will be issued during the periods of registration, final examinations, and final degree certification.

Official transcripts are only sent via mail, directly to the institution or organization identified by the current or former student. Official paper transcripts cannot be picked up in person or faxed. Transcripts requested by a current or former student for mailing to a personal land mail address will be considered unofficial and will include the wording "ISSUED TO STUDENT" on the transcript. It is the current or former student's responsibility to request the correct type of transcript. Each request for a transcript requires the transcript fee to be paid.

Currently enrolled students may elect to hold their transcript request for the current term only. Final official transcripts will not be processed until grading has closed for the semester and all end-of-semester processes have completed. Graduating students may elect to hold their transcript request until degrees have been posted for the current term. Final official transcripts will not be processed until all degrees are certified.

Follow these steps to request an official transcript:

1. Download, print and complete the Transcript Request Form.

2. Mail or fax the completed form to the Registrar's Office. If mailing, include a money order or cashier's check for $15* (personal checks will not be accepted), and a copy of your photo identification (the address is at the top of the form). If faxing the form, write your VISA or MASTERCARD payment information, including signature, on the bottom of the transcript request form. If you do not wish to include your credit card information on the transcript, call the Business Office to provide your payment information over the phone at 214.379.5560. The Business Office is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m.

Once the form has been cleared by the Business Office, it is returned to the Office of the Registrar and processed.

Paul Quinn College will not release a transcript without the written consent of the student except when directed by a court ordered subpoena.

Requesting a Bishop College transcript
Bishop College alums and former students should download and print the Bishop College Transcript Request. Bishop College transcripts are processed for a fee of $15* per transcript. Download, print and complete Bishop College transcript request form and follow the steps above.
